WTTE

WTTE

WTTE is the Fox Television Network affiliate in Columbus, Ohio.

WTTE began operations in 1986. The station is involved in a local marketing agreement with the Sinclair Broadcast Group, and shares news production with its Columbus-area ABC-affiliate, WSYX.

The station began a ten o'clock newscast in 1995, the first in Central Ohio. Yolanda Harris was one of the original anchors. By August of 1999, WTTE's newscast was absorbed into the WSYX Channel 6 news department, that currently produces the 10 o'clock news. It is the 12th highest rated 10 p.m. newscast in the country.

WTTE broadcasts on channel 28 and broadcasts in Stereo.

WTTE-DT (the digital service of WTTE) operates on channel 36.
