Urban America Television

Urban America Television is a minor over-the-air television broadcast network in the United States. According to the company's website, the network has 70 affiliate stations, although just 56 of these stations are VHF or UHF. The rest of its network is composed of low-power television stations. Most of the stations in the Urban America Television network are poorly watched UHF channels. UATV's website boasts of its ability to transmit to 22 million households in the United States. The network's nightly transmission is actually watched by considerably fewer than this theoretically possible audience.

Programming

Urban TV's programming is mainly geared toward a Hispanic and Black audience. The network airs both original programs and, during many hours of the day, old movies. The network's original programs include "We the Jury", "America's Black Forum", and "State Police".
