Tenth grade

Tenth grade (a student at this level is called a high school sophomore) is a year of education in the United States and other countries ten years after kindergarten. Students are usually 15-16 years old. It is the second year of high school.

• In the United States, in mathematics, students are usually taught either Geometry or Algebra II.
