Takao Yoshida aka Taka Michinoku (born October 26, 1973 in Japan) is a professional wrestler that has wrestled all over the world. He is most famously known in North America for his work for the World Wrestling Entertainment. He was the first-ever Light Heavyweight Champion in the WWE and the former tag-team partner of current superstar Funaki.
In December 2002 Michinoku returned to Japan.
Trivia
- His most effective finishing maneuver which he mostly use is called the TAKA Driver (a sit-out over-the-shoulder belly-to-belly piledriver).
- He was famous for inventing the moves, Michinoku Driver (a double underhook implant DDT which was just rarely seen) and popularly the Michinoku Driver II which is currently being used by Rene Dupree referring it as the "Dupree Driver"
- First English words he said on WWF (now WWE) TV were "You, Jackass!" to Jerry Lawler.
- First debuted in North America with the ECW promotion.
