Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN) is Chile's national television station. Its first broadcast was on 1969. It is partly owned by the government, but functions independently from it.

Technical Details

TVN sends its feed via a 200+ sender network spanning all over Chile, using channel frequency 7 in Santiago.

It also operates a external station (TV Chile), that is received via satellite around the world.

Programming

TVN broadcasts from 11:00 GMT-06:00 GMT (24 hours a day in TV Chile,) and offers a healthy mix of news, culture, politics, entertainment, soap operas (teleseries), children programs, etc.
