TND-34

Created in 1998 and broadcasting to the greater Darwin region, home to about 100 000 people, TND-34 is a full affiliate of Seven Network Australia. It is owned by Southern Cross Broadcasting (SCB) and draws its news from Seven Brisbane. TND-34 shows mostly local Queensland programming in addition to the rest of the Seven Network's programming, and is operating head-to-head against Darwin's incumbent NTD-8 (Channel Nine).

It is essentially a carbon copy of SCB's remote Australia satellite service Seven Central , except displaying localized ads, inserted in SCB's Townsville, Queensland studios, and delivered to Darwin via Optus Trans-continental Fibre Optic cable.
