The Society of Graphical and Allied Trades (SOGAT) was a British trade union formed in 1889. Brenda Dean was a famous general secretary of Sogat, especially during its major disputes in the 1970s. It merged with the National Graphical Association in 1982 to form the Graphical, Paper and Media Union.
