Rába

Rába (-Hungarian, in German: Raab) is a river in south-eastern Austria and western Hungary, tributary to the river Danube. Its source is in Austria, some km east of Bruck an der Mur. It flows through the Austrian states Styria and Burgenland, and the Hungarian counties Vas and Győr-Moson-Sopron. It flows into an arm of the Danube (Mosoni-Duna) in northwest Hungary, in the city Győr. Towns along the river Rába are Gleisdorf , Feldbach (both in Austria), Szentgotthárd and Körmend (Hungary).
