Peter Gruner

Peter Gruner (born May 11, 1974 in Allentown, Pennsylvania) is a professional wrestler on the World Wrestling Entertainment's Smackdown! Brand. He is best known by his stage name, Billy Kidman.

Gruner is married to WWE diva Torrie Wilson.

Career

Gruner gained fame in WCW as a key member of several strong wrestling factions. In addition to being a member of Raven's flock, he also was a member of the "Filthy Animals" and later the "New Blood". As a member of these groups, he participated in memorable rivalries with top names in WCW, including Rey Mysterio, Hulk Hogan and Jeff Jarrett.

When WWE purchased WCW, Gruner was among the first to join WWE and his impact on the cruiserweight division was immediate. He won the Cruiserweight Championship in July, 2001. Gruner has been a Cruiserweight Champion on several occasions and is always considered a top contender for the title.
