News Digital Systems, who trade as NDS Limited as a British DRM and conditional access firm. They are floated on the NASDAQ (symbol NNDS), but their major shareholder is News Corporation.
Their major product is the VideoGuard satelite encryption system, which is used on most of News Corporation's satellite TV systems. It is also used on some non-News Corp systems, including Canal Digital .
They also make the XTV PVR, more commonly identifiable as the Sky+ system. This system is most commonly implemented on a RISC OS powered system with OpenTV installed for interactive services.
