Martin Truex Jr
Martin Truex Jr was born June 29 1980 in Mayetta, New Jersey. Previously unknown outside the NASCAR world, Martin Truex surprisingly captured the 2004 Busch series championship. Martin will run a limited schedule for Dale Earnhardt Inc in the 2005 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. However he will try to capture his 2nd Busch Series championship crown in 2005, racing for Chance 2 Motorsports . His primary sponsor is Bass Pro Shops, and his crew cheif is Kevin Manion . His first career win came in the 2004 season in the Sharpie 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway. He went on to claim 5 more wins last year at Talladega, Memphis, Dover, St.Louis, and the final race at Nazareth. He started out the 2005 season finishing 4th at the Hershey's Take 5 300 at Daytona, and won the inagural Telcel 200 at the Mexico Road Course.
