James Badge Dale is an American actor and son of Anita Morris and Grover Dale .
His most notable works to date are in the 1990 film Lord of the Flies based on the William Golding novel, and playing Chase Edmunds alongside Kiefer Sutherland in the third season of Fox TV series 24 (2003–2004).
