The Dallas Desperados are an Arena Football League team that began play in 2002. The team is owned by Jerry Jones, who is also the owner of the National Football League's Dallas Cowboys. The team plays its home games at the American Airlines Center in downtown Dallas, home of the National Basketball Association's Dallas Mavericks and the National Hockey League's Dallas Stars, and compete in the Eastern Division of the National Conference.
