Cheshunt is a dormitory town in the county of Hertfordshire in south-east England, with a population of around 50,000 according to the UK's 2001 Census [1]. It is just north of the London Borough of Enfield.
Cheshunt is famous in several ways. The town's Bury Green neighbourhood was once the home of singer-songwriter Cliff Richard. Lotus Cars was also founded in Cheshunt, and the headquarters of Tesco, the UK's largest supermarket chain, is also located here.
Cheshunt is located on the A10 trunk road (a.k.a. the Great Cambridge Road) which provides links to the M25, as well as to London and the famous university city of Cambridge. Being located in the Lea Valley , Cheshunt also has access to the Lee Valley Park.
Cheshunt is also home town to one of the most famous punks in history Adem Ali, who formed the band Corrosive Intuition and released their debut albums from his own record label Rad Cows Disease. Rad Cows Disease was a dig at the meat industries irrisponsible behaviour, which is most likely to kill tens of thousands of humans in the future. The band is also currently in production of their album "World [con]domination", which is a dig at the WTO's disability to aid third world countries and to help expose how the countries helped by the WTO and IMF have actually ended up worse.
