Bob Orton

Robert Orton a.k.a. Bob Orton, Sr. or simply Bob Orton (born July 21 1929 in Muncie, Kansas ) is a professional wrestler in North America. He is the father of WWE hall of famer "Cowboy" Bob Orton, Jr. and the grandfather of current WWE third-generation superstar Randy Orton who plays a major role on its RAW brand.

His previous nickname was "The Big O" when he wrestled for the Stampede Wrestling TV series.

He was 1/2 of the WWWF (later WWF, now the WWE) World Tag-Team Champions with partner, wrestling legend Buddy Rogers, 1961-62 holding the all-time attendance record for any event ever in the history of the old Madison Square Garden against Bearcat Wright and Argentina Antonio Rocca .

In real life, Robert and the late hall of famer André Roussimoff were good friends.

Currently, he retired in his regular work at Las Vegas, Nevada on July, 2000 and also at present, he still watches wrestling all the time to support his grandchild Randy.
