Baloch

The Baluch (alternative spelling Baloch and occasionally Balouch) are an ethnic group of Iranian origin. They speak Balochi, a north-western Iranian language. They live in western Pakistan, eastern Iran, southern Afghanistan, and scattered throughout the Persian Gulf region. Baluchis have a tradition of religious tolerance even nearly 100 percent are Muslims, mostly Sunni of the Hanafi branch. Nevertheless they keep some additional and ancestral beliefs and rituals.

The estimated number of Baluch is 5.6 millions.
