Alia Martine Shawkat (born April 18, 1989) is a young American actress from Riverside, California.
From 2001 to 2002, she starred as Hannah Rayburn in the television sitcom State of Grace, aired in the United States on the cable television channel Fox Family (renamed ABC Family in 2001).
Since its debut in 2003, she has been a principal cast member of the the Fox Network series Arrested Development, playing Maeby Fŭnke.
Shawkat has also appeared in the major motion picture Three Kings, the television movie Trail Of The Old Drum, and has made guest appearances in the television series JAG and Without a Trace.
