1. European Television

1. European Television (not TV1EU) is a project for a European Union-wide television station.

Some available programs would include:

  • JournalTV1EU : Daily news at 20:00 CET. Only the facts would be presented, without comments and/or conclusions
  • The BonjourEuropa , BuonaSeraEuropa and GoodNightEurope magazines.
  • JuniorTV : child content
  • Teenage : teen content
  • EULive : live broadcasting from 120 cameras around the EU each Sunday.
  • MissEU
  • Hallo Europa

1. European Television would be available both in cable and satellite (Astra & Hotbird).

Most programs would be produced externally, in English, French, German, Spanish or Italian. They would later be broadcast in all official EU languages, after dubbing.

It is uncertain wether the station will broadcast in the nearly future, as the propossed january 31st launch deadline has not been met. As for february 2005, the corporate website only shows colour bars.
