There will be a breastfeeding workshop at SMU this saturday organized by SMU and supported by Breastfeeding Mothers' Support Group, MCYS and Association for Breastfeeding Advocacy (ABAS).
It is a 2 day event over 2 saturdays, from 2.30pm - 5.30pm
Event on 25th October
1400 : Registration
1415 : Strong Marriage for foundation of group parenting - Mr Wong Suen Kwong (Director, Centre for Fathering)
1500 : Why is exclusive breastfeeding so important for the first 6 months?
1530 : Reception
1550 : Preparing to breastfeed
1630 : Discussion with counselors
1700 - 1730 : Dispelling the myths of breastfeeding
Event on 1st Novemeber
1400 : Registration
1415 : Good Communication the foundation for strong marriage - Mr Wong Suen Kwong (Director, Centre for Fathering)
1500 : Why breastfeed beyond 6 months?
1530 : Reception
1550 : Back to work and breastfeed – How?
1630 : Discussion with counselors
1700 - 1730 : Weaning
It costs just $10 per person / $15 per couple for 2 workshops and a free goodie bag worth more than $15 will be given out!
