Overdue toys to give away !!

I have 3 kids at home... my boy, my nephew and my ger... so every year, birthday presents and festive presents are received in multiple of 3... imagine tat !! So now I am stuck with bags and bags of overdue toys in my rooms, taking up lots and lots of spaces. I have thrown away whatever spoiled or useless ones. Those left are still in good condition and infact still quite new. There are just too many to be fully utilised by the kids. Regret that I DO NOT have the time to send them for charity. Anyone know of any organisation where I can just call and arrange for collection from home?

Which school to send my son to???

TJ's going to be 2 1/2yrs old in Sept...I'm lost when it comes to finding a good school for him. He used to be in Growing up Gifted until the teachers pissed me off, then it was off to Playdays at Sunset Way...the school is great, but it's just too far for me to travel!

HELP!! I'm looking for an unaccompanied, drop off class about 2 or 3 times a week, for not more than 3hours around Thomson,Sembawang, Woodlands, Yishun...We live in Sembawang and I drive...

Anyone to the rescue???

excited!

my has just turned 16m/o baby will go on a trial class on sunday. i feel excited for her. i feel that there is really a need for her to have interaction with other kids, and have her stored enegies be released. im a SAHM, and, as always, im her playmate. there are times that i notice shes bored so i always visit the net to give her diff activities. but being around other children is also important for her development. i can see that her eyes glow on the sight of other kids. and how my heart feel the joy seeing that my baby is very happy. she likes other kids. shes so happy when she sees one. a

Aqeel

My son now is 25mths old. He's a very active boy. Whenever he watched his fav character in the TV he will immitate them with the actionz n movements. But what worried me most now is that he hardly talk. He can only pronounced those simple² words like 'mak (mom)','Bapak (dad)'. If we teach him a new words he will say but in a very difficult way n it doesn't sounds right. Shall i send him go for speech theraphy or is it normal for a boy? As my 1st experienced, my daughter spoke very fluent at the age of 11/2 yrs old. What shall i do??

Char Shao Bao...

Don't get me wrong... I love eating Char Shao Bao's but I'm getting "siao" listening to the song!!! its my kids' current favourite believe it or not. Al introduced them to the song from one of Stephen Chow's movies a couple days back. Since then, every night before they sleep one of them will ask to listen to it... they're listening to it while I type now... *aarrrrrgggggghhh*

But they're slowly learning the words to the song (exposure to Chinese) and are happy dancing to its music... so I guess that's good right. We've video'd them from hubby's SE800i phone. I"ll get that video clip up soon... bet you'll have a blast watching them sing and dance.

Two Little Questions That Can Turn Your Life Around

What if I told you there were two simple questions that if used properly could free you to follow your dreams. That could allow you to make use of opportunities to increase or improve your life.

Questions that will change your mindset of asking for advice, feedback or guidance. Two steps to getting that raise you’ve been longing for.

The first question is “What is the worst that could happen?” Given any situation, think of the worst that can happen. Will you become bankrupt? Lose your job? Spend a little more money than you expect?

For example, setting up your own home based business. Apply the first question – “What is the worst thing that could happen?” Is it spending money that you can’t afford? Wasting valuable time and resources? Being a failure?

Shayndel walks at 13th month

3 Nov 05

She walks!!?!?!?? When I say walk, it means she can walk more than 5 steps consectively! This is exciting as she can only walk maximum 3 steps previously for the past few weeks.

She first did her walk at her ah em (caregiver)'s place. It's a pity I can't be the first to witness this moment.

Well done Shayndel! :)
